Jesus Christ Superstar is Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice's award-winning Broadway musical featuring the blockbuster hits Superstar and I Don't Know How to Love Him. This classic rock opera tells the story of biblical Jesus in the final days leading up to his crucifixion. Loosely based on the Gospels, Superstar focuses on the personal conflicts between Jesus, his disciples, the people of Israel, and the leadership of Rome. Special attention is played to the relationship between Judas Iscariot and Jesus, as well as Jesus’ relationship with Mary Magdalene. A product of its era, this show is permeated with 1970’s rock, gospel, folk and funk themes, modern language and colloquialisms, and high-energy dance numbers. Tickets are $37 Adults, $32 Seniors & Students, and $27 for Children. Group rates for 10 or more are available. Please note there is a $3 per ticket processing fee for all tickets whether purchased online or in person at the box office.
