The CAC’s YAP 2026 Spring After School Musical Play is School House Rock Jr!

Join the fun this fall with Schoolhouse Rock Live! Jr., a lively after-school musical theater program! Students will bring the classic songs and characters of Schoolhouse Rock to life while learning performance skills, teamwork, and confidence on stage. Follow Tom, a young teacher, as he discovers how imagination and music can make learning exciting—featuring unforgettable tunes like “Just a Bill,” “Lolly, Lolly, Lolly,” and “Conjunction Junction.”

About YAP’s Monday After School Theater Program: Cultivating imagination, encouraging confidence and helping young artists find joy in self-expression. Through rehearsing and performing a musical play, students develop their own unique voice. Join us every Monday for 10 weeks at the Simi Valley Cultural Arts Center where students will learn about and develop their part of this incredible Fall Theater Event.

Join us at the Simi Valley Cultural Arts Center (3050 East Los Angeles Ave in Simi Valley) for an unforgettable night of Love and Laughter at a gala fundraiser hosted by the Simi Valley Library Foundation, benefiting the Simi Valley Library. Love and Laughs is a Valentine-themed evening designed for adults to come together for a fun night out while supporting a meaningful cause. The event begins with a delightful dessert reception, setting the tone for an evening of connection and celebration, followed by performances from three commissioned comedians who will fill the night with laughter and entertainment. Beyond the fun, Love and Laughs supports our mission to renovate and revitalize our local community library by raising both funds and awareness. Guests will learn about the progress we’ve already made and our goals for the coming year as we continue working to improve and enhance this vital community resource. Let’s come together, share joy, and make a meaningful impact on our community’s library. Bring a date, bring a group of friends, or just bring yourself and meet some new people!
